Mouse Monoclonal IgG3
Description
Anti-HA tag antibody is a purified mouse IgG3 monoclonal antibody that binds to HA-fusion proteins. Anti-HA tag antibody can be used to identify and capture fusion proteins by western blots and immunoprecipitation. Immobilized anti-HA is also used for affinity purification of HA fusion proteins. OmicsLink™ anti-tag antibodies are ideal for use with OmicsLink™ expression-ready ORF cDNA clones.
Immunogen
The OmicsLink™ anti-HA tag antibody was produced by immunizing mice with a synthetic peptide from influenza hemagglutinin epitope (YPYDVPDYA) coupled to the KLH.
Specificity
The anti-HA tag monoclonal antibody recognizes HA-tagged proteins over-expressed in cells including both N- or C-termini of targeted proteins in transfected mammalian cells.
Formulation
0.25 mg/ml in PBS, pH 7.4 with 0.05% sodium azide and 50% (v/v) glycerol.
Applications
Western blot, immunoprecipitation, immunostaining and affinity purification.
Storage/Stability
Stable for 1 year at -20°C from the shipment date. Briefly centrifuge the original vial prior to opening the cap to collect the product at the bottom of the tube.
Starting dilution recommendations
Optimal working conditions should be determined by the user.
General recommendations are western blot at 1:1000; immunoprecipitation and immunostaining at 1:200.
